• Hysteroscopy: This is a procedure to examine a woman’s uterus by inserting a tiny camera through the vagina. This can help identify and remove fibroids and/or polyps. Fibroids are knobs of muscle tissue in or attached to the uterus. 99.5 percent of fibroids are benign (noncancerous) but may cause problems that are improved through removal.
