Choices Women’s Medical Center provides New York State Emergency Medicaid to cover pregnancy-related services including prenatal care and abortion. You can apply on-site and be approved the same day as your appointment.
For more information on qualifications and how to apply, please call 718-786-5000 and ask for the Medicaid Department. You will be asked to come to the clinic with the proper documents. You will find out immediately whether or not you qualify.

Our Out-of-Town program is designed to encourage and support women from other states to come to our abortion clinic to carry out their reproductive decisions. We accept Medicaid from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Delaware, and will help patients arrange affordable transportation and hotel accommodations. We are affiliated with Haven Coalition, a volunteer organization that provides overnight housing for abortion patients who need it and provides an escort for patients to and from abortion.
