Telecounseling is part of the growing field of telemedicine, also called telehealth, where patients can have appointments with medical professionals by telephone or video over the internet. It is easy to access and especially important during the coronavirus pandemic when staying at home is important for stopping infection and saving lives. Our Telemedicine services give at-home patients the same high-quality care they receive during in-clinic visits.
You will speak with one of our licensed social workers by video who is sensitive and experienced with reproductive health issues. She will go over the options available to you: abortion (medical to 10 weeks; surgical to 24 weeks); adoption; or giving birth and keeping the baby. She will discuss with you any concerns you may have and answer any questions. Your virtual counseling appointment will be totally private. The choice is yours to make. At this time, you can also make an appointment to come in to CHOICES for an ultrasound and abortion, either medical or surgical.
